At All Sports, students earn an opportunity to pursue higher education through community service and mentoring. All Sports Community Service, Inc. is a 501-C3 non-profit organization created to ensure students contribute to their communities through volunteerism, community service and mentoring. In return, these students are supported financially and emotionally towards their goal of obtaining a college education, with the assistance of committed adults.

All Sports offers first generation college-bound students and student athletes the opportunity to attend college or successfully pursue other career options with the assistance of mentors. As the first of their families with such an opportunity, they can often better their economic status and become mentors themselves for future generations.

The All Sports program aims to deliver a "high-five experience," that sense of teamwork and accomplishment capable of building momentum towards achieving one's goals; in this case, a college degree. The program is developed around the concept of two tiers and four quarters of an individual's educational process.

"I've had some good times and some extremely hard times,
but through it all I've learned to trust in God, study
harder, and have some fun along the way."

Greetings, fellow alumni & friends:

Throughout the year, we shine the “spotlight” on one of our alumni or friends, providing us an opportunity to learn more about our featured person. For February-March 2008, Mr. Tyrone Keys – recent recipient of the 75th Anniversary SEC Story of Character Award - is in the spotlight.

Tyrone’s life work encourages academics, community service, sports, and significance. He shares these words from his grandmother, Ms Ruth Anna Jordon, with the next generation: “Once a task begun, never leave it until it is done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.”

We thank Tyrone, his staff, and students and Pat Chambliss for their contributions to this article. Also, we thank Mattilon DeBose (Bay Area Business Magazine, Tampa, FL) for the photos. We hope you find this and future articles informative and inspiring.
